GFI’s GS1-128 case barcode fees are designed to offset the increased handling costs, relabeling costs, and customer fees incurred by GFI as a result of Non-Compliant barcodes.
There are two fees for GS1-128 case barcode Non-Compliance:
- “008” or “Non-Compliance”
- $2.50 per case; levied at receipt of PO
- Relabeling fee
- $2.50 per case; levied when a case barcode has critical errors
- “Critical errors” can consist of unscannable barcode, incorrect data in barcode, and more.
Vendors are responsible for all fees. Through ZenDesk, if a vendor disputes 008 fees, the vendor must provide photographic proof of their GS1-128 case barcode labels to validate and compare, along with any other requested documentation from GFI.
Relabeling fees are not eligible for dispute or repay.
Fees and fee rates subject to change.
