Item Content Update Instructions
It is NOT possible to typed edit items in the Approved Item list. You will need to send the item(s) to workflow before editing the information. To do this, you will begin with an Item Update Request.
Note: According to Page 12 of our Supplier Policies and Guidelines changes to item name, brand, pack and/or size, ingredients, or item UPC will require a new item set up in MANTIS.
Please watch and follow those steps carefully. If the item is not sent to workflow, you will not be able to make any changes.
- On your Dashboard, click Item Update Request
- Click the check box on ALL items to be updated
- Click the 3 dots and select Send to Workflow
- Click the Launch Item Override link
- Click Start
- Return to your home screen and click the refresh button (top right.)
- A Not Submitted link should appear in your Item Update tile on your dashboard. Double click this link to open your list of items available to edit.
During the item update request, you will be required to get your item 100% compliant with our item content rules before you can submit the changes. Make sure to address all red errors on your item record or your changes will not be reviewed. Click here for Common Questions about Item Set up
When you're ready to submit your item updates, click the "Complete Item Overrides" link below your item name.
Click the SEND button.
Once an item is submitted, our team will review it. You will receive an email from no-reply@gfifoods.com when changes are approved. The updated information will be reflected in your approved item list once you receive the item change approval email.
